As sole agent for Contest, Wauquiez and Latitude 46 yachts in the UK, Charles Watson Marine is now synonymous with these marques. But it is our history and experience that are the foundation on which this thoroughbred stable has been built. Charles Watson has 30 years experience in the Marine industry starting with Camper & Nicholsons in the 1970s and going on to co-found Ancasta Marine; the original Contest distributor. After leaving Ancasta in 1990 he decided to establish a specialist agency representing complementary ranges of top flight European sailing yachts in the UK and Ireland. His colleagues Tim D'Alton and David Rivett have another fifty plus years experience in and around sail boats of all types. Joy Cann, who runs our office has been sailing for more years than she cares to remember and currently sails a Westerly based in Ocean Village.
